Grilled Chicken Rice Plate

Here is a recipe for delicious grilled chicken rice:


  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 500g of chicken thigh fillets
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish


  1. Rinse the rice and add it to a pot with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cover. Cook until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 18-20 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, paprika, salt and pepper.
  4. Add the chicken fillets to the bowl and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Grill the chicken fillets for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  6. Once the rice is done, fluff it with a fork and serve it alongside the grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped green onions.
